Countdown to Crowdfunding

Compressorhead are about to produce the world’s first album ever to be performed by a full metal Robot band! You can help us by being a part of this. To find out what’s in it for you, simply subscribe to our Newsletter and you’ll be kept up to date about the project and the crowdfunding campaign.

Compressorhead is a rock band with a difference...

its members are robots that play real instruments, live!

We were the first people to build a Robot Rock Band, independent of any institutional or industrial funding. Now we want Compressorhead to be the first Robot Band to record an original album.
We are building a singer-robot and a second guitarist, and we have Canadian music-legend John Wright (of NoMeansNo & The Hanson Brothers) writing fantastic new songs for our Rocking Robot Combo.

But we will also need your help. Building and programming robots takes time and money, and so does producing an album. Most record-labels are not interested in funding an album made by robots, and certainly not in funding the construction of the new robots. And any deal with a record-label would have compromised our independence. Now we want YOU to fund us! Everybody can be part of this. Every little bit helps.

If you would like to hear Compressorhead perform these new songs, support Compressorhead through our Crowdfunding Campaign which is due to start on November 1st.
